NYC schools chief tries to diffuse unrest at 'radicalized' high school
City Schools Chancellor David Banks rushed to Hillcrest High School to address teachers' concerns after an anti-Israeli student riot.
Some students were suspended after the riot, and there are now fears about a planned pro-Israel rally.
Banks assured teachers that their safety will be ensured and that disciplinary action has been taken against the ringleaders of the riot. [ more ]
